I know I’m slow on the fucking uptake on this one, but this episode of Intervention just FUCKING BLEW MY GOD DAMN MIND. Holy shit. It’s my favorite show, but I never even imagined there would be one like this.

Her name is Allison, and in addition to anorexia and self-mutilation, she suffers from a huffing addiction of gargantuan proportions, sucking on dust remover like it’s a baby bottle (she puts away 8 to 10 of them a day). This is Part 1, the rest are on Youtube.

Watch it. Now.

I don’t have cable but am a 1/2 hour into this episode on YouTube. Wow. I can’t even talk about this right now.

My word, and she’s inhaling toluene every day? I’m surprised this woman is still alive. This is the saddest episode I’ve ever seen.

I always watch Intervention on Mondays to make me feel better about my weekend… I was sold on watching Allison’s internvention by the preview of her SCREAMING that she was “walking on sunshine”. I thought this one is going to be awesome. After watching the first ten minutes my stomach was turning for this girl, watching her suck on this can to the point where she can barely make full sentences made my heartbreak. I can’t believe that there hasn’t been any laws set for how many cans of air duster spray someone can buy in one day, or at least have people blackballed at stores for buying more than 4- 8 cans everyday. I don’t know it just blew my mind watching her buy this shit and do it in her car and knowing that she was going to drive home soon after.
